Senior Leadership Team

Josh Brown

Chief Executive Officer

Josh Brown is the CEO of the marketing and advertising firm Brown Strategy where he leads the firm's work with more than 100 companies, organizations and causes. 

 

Josh brings over a decade of experience telling compelling stories and moving people to take action. He got his start working in the political arena. He has held senior roles in more than two dozen political and advocacy organizations and spent time in government on Capitol Hill and at the Council of the District of Columbia.

 

Josh is a skilled videographer, photographer, web developer and graphic designer. He brings his passion for telling compelling stories to every project he works on. 
 

​In the community, Josh has served in leadership roles for the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington and the DC Tobacco Free Coalition. 

​

Josh graduated with honors from The George Washington University. He lives in the Glover Park neighborhood of DC with his wife, kid and dog.

Jessica Lyew-Ayee

Associate Creative Director

Jessica Lyew-Ayee is the Associate Creative Director at Brown Strategy where she assists with the coordination and design of our work helping our clients punch above their weight. Jessica brings 20 years of experience as a Senior Graphic Designer and Consultant, having coordinated proposals and designed marketing collateral for prominent firms in Washington, DC.

Jessica specializes in Identity Mark design (logos), Branding, Illustration, Infographics, Iconography & Semiotics, Motion Graphics, Proposal Design, Print Design, Digital Social Media Graphics, Visual Advocacy, and Visual Storytelling.  

Jessica earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from The Kansas City Art Institute in Missouri (a school with notable alumni such as Walt Disney) majoring in Graphic Design and minor in Liberal Arts, particularly Cultural Anthropology. 

George

Chief Security Officer

We take security very seriously at Brown Strategy and our dog George is the team member that leads this important work. George can be counted on to always be on guard at the office to keep our team and the work we produce for our clients safe and secure.

George is an expert at eating treats, going on walks, getting belly rubs and napping on the couch. George may not have a formal education but he is a quick learner and has plenty of street smarts.
